After a darn good two weeks in the Kansas City area we decided to head towards Knoxville Iowa to hang out for a week.
We stayed at the Marion County County Park but we will do a separate update on that and other things like a night at the races, a tour of a Racecar museum and a few other things. In this update I think we will just keep the verbiage to a minimum and let the pictures do their own thing and this time if you would like to know more feel free to leave a question or comment in the comment section. I think the comment section still works but it has been so long since getting a comment I’m not sure LOL!!!
Oh, we are trying a little different format for pictures, let us know what you think.
We did a few other things than just look at flowers, we hit a couple old time bakeries, we toured a working windmill and a few other things but again we won’t take time to type it all out, we will just share pictures and if you want to more know more you will need to break down and ask in the comment section.
Well thats a bunch of tulips and it’s just the tip of the iceburg of what we saw but we are sure you get the idea. We will have a video up at some point in the future on our YouTube channel that could be fun to watch so keep an eye out for that. We will post a link when that happens in case you have not subscribed to our YouTube channel. Here is a link to our channel in case you want to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/c/DaveandDianeThrowingCautiontotheWind
Oh in our last update we talked about a place called Chicken N Pickle and we had a short video go live on our YouTube channel in case you care to check that out as well, here is a alink to that. https://youtu.be/N7n4uAjPIF0
Ok, thats it for now. We will be back with some more cool stuff from our Iowa visit so come on back.
Thank you, sincerely. I’ve been reading your posts since the Tiffin Lazy Ways days🙂
LOL,,, Lazy Ways,,, I love that!!! Thanks for hanging around with us and the comment.
Hey. OK Here’s a comment. I have read your blog for some time now, and enjoyed your stories but not a fan of video and I know you are enjoying that. I am glad it works for you. Not many folks out there like me who are tired of videos. I tend to speed read and scan when I read and I can’t do that with video. Just a personal thing for me I am sure since videos seem so popular. I plan to check out the photos on the big computer. They don’t show up well on the phone viewing version. The colors are gorgeous and I look forward to seeing them on the big screen.
Like you I always read blogs didn’t watch the YouTube stuff for a long time and in fact just started doing so within the last couple years and then I started changing my ways a little and now look, I’m doing both LOL, Hey thats ok, as long as you enjoy our blog we are happy to have to hang around with us. And thanks for taking the time to comment.
Follow up: The photos looked wonderful on the big screen from my desktop. Nice layout. Not sure how many people read from their computers any more since phones seem to be taking over everything, but I enjoyed seeing the flowers this time around. Nice
Oh Great,,, happy you enjoyed them.
The new picture format is pretty nice, I like it
Oh good, I didn’t even know this way of showing pictures was available until I started looking with all these Tulip pictures and thinking they would be scrolling forever and started digginga little. Thanks for the comment.
Hey Dave. Far be it from me to rate a photo spread, given my current inability to figure out my own media issues in my blog (currently working on the portrait vs. landscape modes getting parts cut off.) But I do say, for some reason unbeknownst to me your photos show up more completely and faster on the Mac vs. my Apple phone. Those tulip colors certainly pop! Continued safe travels to you…
LOL,, well it’s good to know that I’m not the only one struggling with figuring things out. What do they say, misery loves company LOL!!
Right up my alley! Seas of colourful flowers, beautiful Windmill, and awesome bakeries = my kinda place. Thanks for taking us along. So glad you are still doing the blog Dave.
I’ll try leaving a comment again. Never seems to work. Thank you for taking the considerable time and effort to keep this blog up to date. It is such a valuable resource and I appreciate all the work you do to inform and entertain the RV community.
Thank you Bruce, you don’t know how nice it is to hear comments like that now and again. We are glad to hear you enjoy it. Be well!!
