Our stay in Caldwell Idaho

We have been hanging out in Caldwell Idaho for the last week. Why did we stop in Caldwell you might ask, well it was along our path so why not LOL!!

It was a pretty warm week with temps hovering in the mid to high 90’s so most days we did things in the morning, hid inside the Rv with the air-conditioned on or inside the truck driving around the area mid-day and enjoyed the late afternoon breeze which brought cooler temps in our chairs overlooking the small lake behind us in the evenings.

There was a water skiing competition going on just down the road from our campground when we first arrived so we spent a good chunk of one day there watching the festivities before being chase away by the heat.

On another day (Saturday) we drove to Nampa to attend a Farmers Market and ran across the Nampa Railroad Depot Museum.

As it turned out it was about far more than just railroad stuff, there were tons of other items that I’m sure many of you (like us) could relate to from years gone by. We will just share some pictures and we are sure you will see things that will take you back to some point in your life.

On some days we just drove around small towns in the area getting the flavor of small towns surrounding Boise. Small towns like Middleton, Eagle, Nampa & Star. All pretty nice small towns. And on Wednesday (7/27) we visited yet another small Farmers Market in Caldwell. Have we mentioned we love Farmers Markets??!!

Ok, we didn’t really do much worthy of blogging about so we will cut this one short.

Thursday (7/28) will bring another travel day. We will lift our jacks and do something that we don’t normally do, travel 250 miles on a freeway to our next destination, uhg. But it’s ok now and again.
