Last day in the Savannah Georgia area

Tuesday 11/5/13 was our last day in the Savannah area. We decided to hang around camp for the day throwing in a couple bike rides and walks and Diane threw together a crockpot of Chicken Mole. Plus we still had no set place to go once we pulled out Wednesday morning so we wanted to put some thought into that.

Nothing really exciting happened so we will mainly share a few photos from around the park that I took during our bike ride.

This area would be wet or dry depending on the tide. We say a few deer in this area during our walks.

And on Wednesday morning 11/6/13 when we lifted jacks and rolled out we still didn’t have any place set in stone to stay LOL!! But we did have 3 places in mind. So we figured we would just stop at each one until we found something. Not what we normally do but for some reason we just didn’t get into the planning mode I guess.

But it worked out. The first place we stopped at, Blythe Island Regional Park, had a few spots available so we will be here for 2 nights. We will do an update about our stay later but Wednesday we did a driving and walking tour of Historic Downtown Brunswick and Thursday we plan to drive over to Jekyll Island to check things out. That should be interesting.
